What does Targetpoint make?
Android and Windows POS hardware for retail and hospitality: desktop POS terminals and cash registers (D6, D10), tablet POS (T2, T4 Pro, T10), self-service kiosks (K156, K215, K21B), handheld POS and rugged PDAs (Q7, H62, H68, H60, H40), handheld and desktop barcode scanners, and 2D barcode scan engines for OEM integration.
Do you offer OEM and ODM services?
Yes. For OEM we customise our existing models to your requirements (oem@targetpoint.co.kr). For ODM we develop a tailored product from industrial design through to manufacturing (odm@targetpoint.co.kr).
Do you provide software as well as hardware?
Yes. We offer Android and Windows app development, system design for retail, logistics and restaurant SaaS, and a Terminal Management System (TMS) for remote management and maintenance of devices in the field.
Where is Targetpoint located?
Our headquarters is in Qingpu District, Shanghai, China. We also have offices in Seoul (South Korea), Cedar Park, Texas (USA) and Taipei (Taiwan).
How long has Targetpoint been in business?
Targetpoint was founded in Seoul in 2019 by a team with more than 20 years of experience in retail hardware design, manufacturing and supply chain.

Kiosk
Which self-service kiosk sizes do you offer?
A 15.6-inch kiosk (K156) and two 21.5-inch kiosks (K215 and K21B), all running Android 11.
What is built into the kiosks?
Each kiosk has a 3-inch (80 mm) thermal receipt printer with auto-cutter and a 1D/2D barcode scanner. An EMV/IC card reader, MSR and NFC are available depending on model and configuration; see each product's specification table.
Can the kiosk be wall-mounted?
Yes. The K215 is designed for both countertop and wall mounting and has a VESA mount.
Can the kiosk be customised with our branding?

Desktop
Do you offer Windows and Android POS terminals?
Yes. The D10 is a Windows 10 cash register, and the D6 is an Android POS terminal. Our tablet POS models (T2, T4 Pro, T10) also run Android.
Do the cash registers have a customer display?
Yes. The D6 has a 15.6-inch main screen and an optional 10.1-inch customer screen. The D10 has a 15.6-inch main screen and an optional 14-inch or 13.3-inch customer screen.
Which tablet POS models support NFC?
The T4 Pro and T10 support NFC; on the T2 it is optional.
Handheld
Which handheld POS terminals have a built-in printer?
The Q7 (5.5-inch) and H62 (6.2-inch) Android handheld POS terminals both include a 2-inch thermal printer and NFC.
Do you have rugged handhelds for warehouse and logistics?
Yes. The H68 (6-inch full-touch, Android 14), H60 (5.5-inch full-touch) and H40 (with physical keypad) are rugged Android PDAs with a 1D/2D barcode scanner and IP67 protection.
Can we manage the handhelds remotely?
Yes. Our Terminal Management System (TMS) lets you manage and maintain devices in the field remotely.

OEM Engine
What is the difference between a scan engine and a scan module?
Our scan engines (SD10, SD20, SL20, TL13, TD13, T20, T40) are compact 2D imagers with a MIPI interface, designed to be built into handhelds, kiosks and other devices. Our scan modules (DM48, DM95, DM80, DKP301) are complete scanners with USB or RS232 interfaces for easy installation.
What image resolutions are available?
640 × 480 (SD10, TL13, TD13, DM48) up to 1280 × 800 (T20, T40, DM95, DM80). See each product's specification table for details.
Can the scan engines be customised for our device?

Peripherals
Do your scanners read QR codes on phone screens?
Yes. Our 2D handheld scanners read 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR codes, from both printed labels and mobile phone screens, which makes them suitable for mobile payment and e-ticket checks.
How do the scanners connect to a POS?
The handheld scanners connect over USB (keyboard emulation) or USB-COM (virtual serial port), so they work with Windows, Android, Linux and macOS without special drivers. The IA230 is also available in a Bluetooth version.
Which scanner should I choose for a warehouse?
For warehouses and logistics we recommend the rugged S31 or IA260. For a checkout counter, the S21, IA230 or IA232 are a good fit. Contact us and we will help you choose.
Orders & samples
Can I order a sample before a larger order?
Yes. We provide samples so you can test the hardware with your software. Contact info@targetpoint.co.kr with the model and quantity you need.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product and on how much customisation you need. Standard models can be ordered in small quantities; customised OEM and ODM products need a higher volume. We will confirm this in your quotation.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We work with customers around the world and can arrange international shipping. Delivery terms are confirmed in your quotation.
Support & software
Do you provide an SDK?
Yes. SDKs and documentation for printers, scanners and other built-in modules are available for our terminals. Ask our team for the SDK for your model.
What warranty do your products have?
Our products come with a manufacturer warranty. The warranty period and terms are confirmed in your quotation or contract.
